New Sociology Program Based on GIIP’s Method

    GIIP has always been about connecting the theory and practice of infoactivism. Now, motivated students have the opportunity to delve deeper into that connection than ever before! Thanks to a whole year of hard work by our director Paul Lubeck, GIIP and the Sociology department have developed an entirely new minor and honors quality major in Global Information and Social Enterprise Studies (GISES).

GIIP is celebrating its 10 year Reunion and all GIIP alumni, partners, supporters and advisers are invited to attend a special event during UCSC's 2009 Reunion Weekend.

This event will be an opportunity to reconnect, look back on GIIP's achievements and learn what current students and alumni are accomplishing.  Please make every effort to attend the reunion to celebrate what students have been able to create by investing their creative energy in an alternative vision.
