Donate to GIIP's Endowment Fund
"GIIP To The Power of 10" is a student-run fundraising campaign launched by GIIP Fellows to celebrate ten years of social entrepreneurship and GIIP's success in using information technology to democratize globalization by empowering civil society.
GIIP is working to raise $10,000 in 2010 to begin an endowment that will maintain us as a financially independent and sustainable program at UCSC. A generous supporter has offered to match every dollar we raise up to $10,000! His match implies your contribution will hold twice its value. So please join us in support of GIIP and maintain our commitment to deepening social justice.
This past year GIIP has grown significantly and has established an honors major/minor at UCSC called Global Information and Social Enterprise Studies. In 2009, GIIP students have worked in Fresno, Washington DC, Minneapolis, Northern Nigeria, Ethiopia, and India, to carry out projects teaching web design and blogging, building databases, and studying the use of mobile phones for community health outreach. However, the growing number of students thriving in the GIIP program cannot be supported due to the catastrophic budget cuts facing UCSC. Please help us defend quality public education by donating to GIIP today.

Host an Intern
By hosting an intern your organization receives a well trained, motivated intern with a unique skill set well suited for NGOs. In return, GIIP interns gain valuable real life experience.
Project Development
GIIP is interested in expanding our partnership network by developing joint projects with Strategic Partners. Your NGO’s case study can be built into GIIP curriculum, and interns trained in the specific skills your organization needs.
