Covering National Security in a 2.0 World: A View from Washington

 

As an award winning investigative reporter for the Washington Post, Dana Priest has won acclaim and two Pulitzer Prizes: in 2008  for "The Other Walter Reed," and in 2006 for her work on on CIA secret prisons and counterterrorism operations overseas.  Her 2003 book, "THE MISSION: Waging War and Keeping Peace With America's Military," earned the New York Public Library Bernstein Book Award and was a finalist for The Pulitzer Prize in non-fiction. 

Priest holds a B.A. in Politics from the University of California, Santa Cruz and was honored in 2008 with the Alumni Achievement Award. She is a long time GIIP supporter, and is co-chair of the Global Advisory Board.

GIIP is honored to host Ms. Priest for an evening discussing her most current work, investigating national security and intelligence- Covering National Security in a 2.0 World: A View from Washington.
