Hi, my name is Thomas Gelder. I’m a 25 year old transfer student from Marin county. I am a GISES major in my junior year. In the past quarter I’ve tripled my workload thanks to GIIP and am loving it. I’m interesting in extending education opportunities to disadvantaged and disenfranchised youth. Currently I’m working with with the PUEDE group to get ready for the summer outreach program. In the near future I hope to implement a micro finance fund to be used as an education tool.
